Our liver stores excess glucose as glycogen to be used between meals to keep our blood stable. A sluggish, stagnant or pre-fatty liver impede glucose storage. When these stores drop, the burden is put onto the pancreas which then loses its stability forcing to fluctuate its insulin production - when this continues the pancreas begins to weaken, insulin is reduced and blood sugar destabilizes and you get labeled pre-diabetic.

Celery juice plays a big part in balancing this out! It revives the liver, dissolving and purging out any built up fat and assists the body in releasing glycogen. The dissolution of fats in the liver and bloodstream further assist at regulating insulin and lowering resistance.

Additionally its important to keep your glucose reserves high - honey, dates and critical carbohydrates (potatoes, butternut, pumpkin and squash) are a critical daily addition for your diet and health!
